New player looking for a fleet

Hey there,

I started playing four days ago and my tactical officer is now rank 34 in a Sao Paolo escort. Normally, I'd wait a lot longer before commiting to a player organization as I do in any MMO, but in this case I already know this game's a keeper.

I have some very specific criteria, so please make sure you read these bullet points before recommending your own fleet, if you'd be so kind, once they are covered you'll get to my gaming resum? at the bottom of the post:

- I'm European but sometimes I play at night, sometimes in the day. I have no time zone.

- Teamspeak 3 or Ventrilo and a social group (on said voice comm) that use it even when they don't have to, because they enjoy eachother's company while gaming.

- No silly/ humorous/ offensive/ 1337-speak fleet names, or ones with symbols other than alphanumeric in the lettering. I have a sense of humor, but hold immersion as one of the most important things of this game, and I simply shut out fleets like that from my conscience.

- Not super hardcore and not super casual. I play on average 7-12 hours per day myself, but spend that time exploring and figuring out what parts of the game I enjoy most. You won't be able to push me into a reputation grind I don't enjoy, if it comes to that. Still, I'm plenty helpful when needed, and I enjoy group activities. I like variety. While I've been leveling, I've been alternating Fleet Action -> Story -> Fleet Action -> Patrol -> Fleet Action (you get the point) ... I like PvP but if I get to endgame and there's a huge artificial gear gap I won't be doing it.

- My main is a tactical escort and my one alt is a science officer. I will very likely never do Engineer and I'll only use a cruiser on my tac if it drops out of a lockbox.

To briefly sum up my history, I've been playing online games of all varieties since 2002 (but never WoW! Ha!) and in that time I've been the leader of most clans and guilds I've been a part of. I am currently the owner/ leader of Bloodpact, who've been in action in 6 games in almost 8 years.

The last game (brilliant game by the way) that we played, was The Secret World. Unfortunately I got sick and declared myself no longer fit for leadership and the memberbase moved to a different cabal.

Bloodpact has no concrete plans for a 'next venture', but looking at World of Darkness. So depending on the outcome my time here could be affected.

And yes, I'm a massive trekkie. ;)

EDIT: Also, I don't care how old your fleet is, whether you have X tier of base/ embassy or whatnot, as long as the above criteria is met. Actually, if I had a choice between and old and a new fleet, I would go with the new one, because being a part of building something up is my favorite part of MMORPGs.

Greetings. I'm apart of the Dark Mirror Fleet. We are an old fleet with life timers as well as new timers. We have a mirror universe theme and most importantly, we have NO intention of trying to become just another large fleet.

I've herd it said before, "sometimes it's not about the destination but the journey" and Dark Mirror Fleet believes in that. A T5 starbase will come soon enough.. and honestly the most important thing to us is that the journey to get there is enjoyable. An adventure that the fleet shares together and in the end stands together and is able to say wow, WE did this. WE made it.

We have TS3 and even if we're off doing something not even in game, like cooking dinner or whatever, we still sign on just to hang out and chat. We want to stay small mainly b/c we feel a fleet/guild is about a group of people who, like you said, enjoy each others company. Not about a nameless face or just a number.

www.darkmirror.enjin.com is our site. Check us out if you like.

The normal times we're on is evening time to late night. 6pm-whenever (-5GMT)

    Hello there:

Starfleet Liberty Force is still recruiting for a different kind of social gaming. Membership satisfaction is our focus and we are not the corporate like entity kind of fleet. We bring in the social connection that most fleets lack and we are proud to put you in the center of the action.

Wouldn't you rather be part of an exciting group of gamers who care about each other instead of being a mere number in a fleet's roster?

We are a success story of a well established and friendly "Starfleet Liberty Force". Starfleet's finest fleet...where you always have a voice and input...born of hard work and dedication of great individuals.

We are not the small kind of fleet struggling to grow but we are a well established and large enough fleet to accomodate all kinds of players from different gaming preferences and timezones.

PM me for more information and happy gaming!!!

    Hello there,

I would like to suggest the unnamed fleet that is about to go active. There is one catch, we are a dedicated RP fleet. You never specified this in your information, however you referencing your leadership abilities is what really attracted me to this post. I am looking for executive members and co-leaders of a sort.

Shoot me a message if you would like to discuss this. My IGN is Locke@ubermatten.

    Cheers!

Try 12th Fleet. I'm not gonna try to sell them to you, just make your own judgments. We are highly active as far as I can tell and I believe we meet your criteria. I normally wouldn't reply to threads like these, to be honest, just felt like you would be at home here.

If you are looking for a "mature" fleet and you are over 30 years young then we may be the fleet for you. We have a European Hegemony (UK Department) in our fleet and we also have a strong Klingon faction.

No rules, no bosses and nothing is mandatory, we are just here to have a good time!

Please check out our website at tosfleet.com or click on my signature image to see what we are all about.

Sounds to me like you value the people you are playing with more than energy credits and starbases?

If thats the case I would really like you to apply to the Praxian Alliance. We are a circle of friends more than a fleet... some of us have been here since Beta but we currently only have 30 members. Why so small? Because we only accept the "right fit" of player who focuses on becoming close friends with the group and helping each other out as much as possible. We are very focused on the type of player/person we invite into our fleet because we are exclusive and offer many things other fleets do not to enhance your game experience.

We are very private about the custom content and various other "enhancements" we provide to our players because when everyone hits a T5 Starbase there is very little to set them apart from all the others out there. This is why since day ONE we have began to offer more than anyone else in-game can... we are exclusive, we are unique and we are managed by a professional group dedicated to every one of our player's needs and making the fleet into what they envision. Every one of our players has a say in the direction of the fleet, and because people usually dont like "meetings" and "rigid structure" we have a team that does the behind the scenes grunt work for all the extras we offer.

If you are looking for TRUE friendship and an exclusive fleet full of things you cant find anywhere else the i suggest checking out our website.

    www.PRAXIANALLIANCE.wix.com/main

You are worried about the times you play? Well our members are on at all different times! We have members in Europe and America who find the time to get to know one another on a personal level and play at all times during the day. Even some of us in North America tend to be night owls, giving us the opportunity to play with everyone!

Unlike some of the other posts I see here, I can tell you this isnt a copy+paste that we use on everyone... which hopefully shows you how dedicated and personal we really are to our player base. Every fleet out there is going to say "we are the best", "we are all friends", "we are unique and special"... so honestly there is nothing I can say in words that can prove to you how different and exclusive we really are... I can only show you the difference.

    Sincerely,

I'd like to recruit anyone that would be willing to help work on the starbase with us. But, my fleet has only 4 active members, and we are all fairly new to the game ourselves. I'm not sure if our fleet is your type, but if you are interested, send me a PM ingame.

Currently, the other members and myself have been busy with work lately, so our hours are strange.

However, in the most likely event that you are not interested, I wish you the best of luck finding a fleet, and I hope you enjoy the game.
