MOLD: make the item or just sell it?

1: I have a collection of molds and level 8 crafting skills and was wondering if its better to craft the items and try to sell them or just simply sell the molds for someone else to use to make the items.

And

2: If selling molds would you price them by colour (white, blue, gold) and level?

    Depends on the mold.

    With the vast majority of them, you'll make more coin from selling the mats to/from a catshop and sticking the mold in the AH for some random price. There are a few molds that are still worth making, but nowadays it's not by a large margin honestly.

    As for when selling them... it's based purely on the item and level in most cases.

    If you're going to craft molds about the only ones still worth bothering with are the ornaments and possibly the robes and helms(yet those are also iffy). And even then it's really only the ones for higher lvls. As far as ornaments are concerned, the only two that even come to mind are Sky Demon's Pearl necklace and Band from Heaven's Jail ring. Otherwise, like Kossy said, you're more than likely to make more off selling the mats. And as a side note, if you wanna sell the molds in the AH, you should list them fairly cheap, otherwise you will spend a good chunk of your asking price re-listing them. At that point you're likely better off just throwing them in a catshop for 50-75K, atleast if they do sell it's pure profit.

    Depend which mold. the only one that worth something is the Sky demon pearl, maybe some weapon lvl60-80.
