Most underrated Venomancer skill?

I thought to make a thread for every class and ask you folks...

Which is the most underrated skill amongst your class? The kind of skill, that other players of your class dont really seem to appreciate, at least not most of them, but you've found a nice use for it.

You could also mention why you personally like this skill and why others do not favor it so much. Both PvE and PvP scenarios are welcomed.

    Befuddling Mist.

'Cause it allows doing PVs as a HA-veno far earlier than an AA-veno ever could. And it's not used much by AA-venos 'cause they tend to prefer spells.

Fossilized Curse is kinda underrated by me b:chuckle though its debuff is really good.
Chi Burn. Maybe I don't pay attention on other foxes using it, but some of them don't have it and it's useful.
I won't assume how often other venos use Natural Synergy in pvp, but when I talked about this skill, not many were excited to have it for any other purpose than attack buff for pet in pve.

Highly depends on situation, level range and whether it's PvE or PvP. For example, Leech+Consume Spirit combo makes for easy botting on Venomancers. At least when it comes to lower levels or HA/LA builds.

Stunning Blow was useful in PvE even before the update but it had the accuracy drawback in PvP (of course now it doesn't) but I rarely/never saw players use it in PvE or PvP. Admittedly, I also kinda stopped using it since I could just roll PvE with R9rr.

There are a few underrated skills, especially in PvP, like you mentioned Chi Burn and Natural Synergy but looking at the picture as whole I'll consider Fox Attacks are mostly underrated/underused.

Agree! It's wonderful for botting and foxform pvp. I didn't even know it was a aoe before a month ago!

Malefic Crush is also pretty cute. I helped a not-so-amazing seeker to take down mobs in the FC exp room a second before the death of the entire squad. And I'm a AA vit hybrid. b:laugh

Probably disregarded leech too fast, yeah. I use it for botting, saves pots. Consume spirit I don't use though, it's not that fatal to lose mana since bot is set on autoattack as well.

Before our gear got to the point it's at now (and for lower levels) consume spirit + leech combo was basically a free heal for both HP and MP. Was very handy to have available and let you keep going for quite a while.

In general I... have to agree with Desdi. The fox form attacks in generally are wholly underrated even though they're pretty handy depending on the situation. At least before you get maxed out gear and can faceroll with ease.

Fossilized Curse is an amazing skill, although I rarely see it used in PK. 15 seconds of near permanent miss, and magic defence purge - sometimes when I mistime my purge, I can at least get off a mdef purge to assist in my own/my allies magic damage.

Level11 (demon) Frost scarab can be useful under some circumstances - I use it semi regularly for the immobilize :)

The skill I use least often is actually quite a useful skill - Soul Transfusion. If I used a MP charm I might use it more but whenever I need a charm tick, most of the time I have less MP than HP so it is useless. I will try use it more though, it is very useful c:

Oh Fossilized Curse, yeah, I forgot that one (ironically), it's one of my favourite skills but I don't see a lot of people talking about it.

I don't know what skill to say. The only ones I don't use are the ones that are truly useless (soul link, frozen scarab, malefic).

But now that Desdi says, probably fossilized curse is the most underrated because I rarely see any other veno use it. That's a great skill for killing undebuffed heavies.

i would vote for myriad rainbow , both foxform and normal, the foxy one its really usefull in delta. its random debuff and sometimes none but the ones that get mag or p def debuffs will die fast, and the normal one during large bosses could be a huge boost when the mag or p def gets it

I actaully try and use Fossilized Curse quite a bit now that I have had it for about a month or two (finally, after 5 years of being on pwi). For Human Form I'm going to say...Bramble Hood. Yes, it doesn't return the damage in main map pvp, but it does still reduce the damage. When in NW if I have the chi and wanna just have fun I like to put on bramble, Bramble Hood and Blazing Barrier. That combo is unf~

For Fox form...The one that I don't use as much as I should would have to be Myriad Rainbow. I used to use it a lot back in the good ol' HH days, but now in PVP there are other skills that I could use that require chi that are higher on my priority list. If I have a moment I will try to use Myriad Rainbow, but it's not one of my go-to skills.

Hood doesn't stack with normal reflect and vice versa. o.o~

The brambles do work with blazing barrier, though.

I never even tried to not have regular bramble in NW, so I never noticed if they all stacked, so I wasn't sure of that. Would just recognize a face of a melee class and would pop them Blazin Brambles. Yis, hit meh pls.

Sometimes that 2 second paralyze is all that is needed to win. When messing around in guild PK my Malefic paralyzed all three and allowed me and a friend to get away b:laugh
