Crafting Tailor Doesn't Drop

Why don't the threads drop anymore? I started a brand new character and monsters aren't dropping thread. Can anyone tell me if an update caused this or what? I don't want to spend 100K on thread.

    What kind of thread? What level is your new character? I haven't had any problems with thread (cotton, silk, or compound thread, azureworm silk, or vega string) dropping.

    Any and all kinds. I have a level 13 seeker, all I get is limestone or something. I am trying to farm for level 1 mats.

    What mob are you farming for thread? Sounds like you're farming the wrong thing and farming something below your level which reduces your drop rate. Try the Feral Ursog if you're able to fly. If not, try a different mob which would be closer to your level.

    Kill the mob with the highest drop rate closest to your current level.

    I know say check PWI database its a very good response but in this case...    b:surrender

    I've gotten decent cotton thread drops from mountain tunneldiggers and the electro skatefish (or whatever the correct name for them is) on eastern Isle of Broken Dreams even when my toon was quite a bit over these level 10 mobs.
