I have looked but cant find out where of how to get my rank 8 gear to its highest level. i want to do this before refine or shard in case these are removed. Can any one tell me please.

    Check the forges next to faction base manager. :)

    Ok so found it the first Forge is the recast 1 to upgrade called Reforge the second called Reshape appears to be to have a second try at the attributes and the third called Hone looks like it will add a second set of attributes. Am I correct in my reading of the instructions?

    No.
    R8 recast forge Reshape allows you to replace stats with a new set of a different type of stats.
    Hone legs you keep stats bt try for higher numbers on those stats.

    I would recast everything once to get all the set bonuses before rerolling anything for better stats. If it wasn't for the set bonuses I don't think people would even bother buying R8 boots and wrists. You get them just to recast them and get all the bonuses.
