Why does Paralyze go through Antistun?

Since it should block any movement debuff, it should eitherway only block immobilization, or Stuns AND Paralyze...
Stun and Paralyze are basically the same, preventing you from moving, why can only Stun be prevented with antistun then?
Locks with Paralyze are way too broken these days...

    Paralyze was originally meant to be a counter for Purify proc, but then they gave it to classes that have way too much damage output.

    Can there be any nerf expected? I mean, if paralyze goes through anti-mobilize effect, stun should too, as it doesnt freeze primary, it stuns.

    The entire point of paralyze is it goes through anti stun and can't be purified, otherwise it wouldn't be a counter to Purify proc.
