What monsters can a Venomancer tame?

I began playing PWI many years ago but never got very far and stopped playing after a few months. I'm starting over with a brand new Venomancer, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to tame pets. I have the skill, but every time I use it, the monsters just "reject" it. Are there only certain monsters that can be tamed? If so, what are they? I tried looking this up on the Wiki and Guides pages, but both of those links are broken. Any up-to-date info would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

    The recent forum migration broke a lot of things...

    Tame-able monsters have a little monster-head icon next to their HP bar when you click on them. Green means tame-able. Yellow means tame-able, but harder to tame. Red means your level is too low to tame it. Also keep in mind that you have to lower a monster's HP before you can tame it otherwise you'll most likely keep failing.
