For this event we present to our dear users the following challenge...

Assemble a group of friends (or foes) and attempt to recreate the appearance of a specific type of monster. In this case the ever menacing Bramble Cactopod!

Here's how it works:

1). Gather a group of friends, foes, pets, mounts, objects, WHATEVER and with this motley crew attempt to duplicate the appearance of a Bramble Cactopod.

2). From high on up, take a screenshot of your group's attempt at portraying a Cactopod.

3). For each entry, please submit 2 screenshots:

a). For the first shot please turn off your UI (alt-H) as well as your name and the players names (system --> System Settings --> UI Tab --> Uncheck 'my name' and 'player name').

b). For the 2nd screenshot please turn player names back on and zoom in closer (if necessary) so that we can see the names of the players in your group.

4). Please submit your screenshots to events@perfectworldinc.com no later than Monday, May 4th by 5 p.m. (Pacific Time).

5). You may submit multiple entries. With each entry be sure to include the 2 specified screenshot formats and let us know what server your group resides on.

6). PWI judges will examine all screenshots and pick 1 winning entry whose screenshot most accurately resembles a Cactopod when viewed from up high.

7). The winning group will be announced later that week and 5 group members will be randomly selected and will each receive a Charm Pack!


ADDITIONAL RULES:

1). To recreate a Bramble Cactopod users may use anything found within the game: characters, mounts, pets, objects, stationary objects (eg - trees), stacks of coins, etc.

2). There is no limit to the amount of objects or characters that you can use in your screenshot.

3). The first criteria that judges will base their decision on is how closely does the group shot resemble an actual Bramble Cactopod. Bonus points will be give for creative artistic flair (for example, posing the Cactopod) as well as accurate color reproduction.

4). Submit your screenshots in .jpg ONLY. These images must also be raw and unaltered. Any screenshots that have been retouched or manipulated will be immediately rejected for consideration.

    yep, 5 Packs for a total of 25 gold charms and 5 Big Rainbow Eggs.

    You say 5 group members will be randomly selected, does that mean that if you have a group of 6 you are going to leave a group member with out a charm pack?

    correct.

    that is why we are requiring the 2nd screenshot (the group photo with player names displayed). An impartial staffer (prolly someone who doesn't work on PWI) will then be asked to select 5 players displayed on the picture.

    of course, we are hopeful that most groups or group leaders will take the initiative to make sure that prizes get distributed fairly. b:victory

    We'll likely base this decision on the specific class of the player(s) randomly selected from the winning group.
