PvP Style?

So I'm new to this game.
Not sure on what class to pick.
But I love PvP.
Is this game's PvP focused on 1v1 or group PvP?
This will help me pick my class, cuz it sounds like in 1v1 pvp mages and archers are the best, but they wouldn't last long in a group PvP battle

    If you play in Lost City, both. Dueling, free PK after 30, and territory wars.

    I would suggest browsing the PW-MY forums for builds and ideas, because each class has multiple unique pvp-oriented builds that benefit certain kinds of players and their playing styles. It can help you choose your class a bit more informed than 3-4 pages of "omgz maeg sux pik archer... no barb pls dey nvr die" etc etc. Just my 2 cents. :d
