PvP vs PvE

So I just joined Perfect World, I'm wondering whether I should join a PvP or PvE server.

Can you still PvE (dungeons/raids/whatever) on a PvP server? Or PvP on a PvE server? Is there a major difference between the two? Thanks!

    You can still do dungeons and raids on a PvP server. You can still duel, arena, or go into PK mode on a PvE server.

    The difference is that PvP servers will automatically flag your player as PK-mode -- and thus a valid target for combat -- as soon as you reach level 30. You can not fight players (outside of a duel or arena match) while inside a "Safe Zone" like a city even with PK-mode enabled, nor will other players be able to fight you, but outside of cities nearly everything is fair game.

    On PvE servers you must actively choose to enter PK-mode, and many players will not do so.
