How to become the king of Neverfall

If you're as much into titles as I am then you've probably noticed there are 3 Neverfall Ranks you can earn as a title, each with their own stats.

Neverfall Squire
Neverfall Knight
Neverfall Lord

Out of curiousity I decided to calculate how many Neverfall Squire Badges we'd need to get, on average, for each of these titles. Figured I'd share the info for whoever cares.

Neverfall Squire = 40 Neverfall Squire Badges
Neverfall Knights = 180 Neverfall Squire Badges
Neverfall Lord = 1440 Neverfall Squire Badges

Promoting badges from Squire to Knight succeeds at 50% chance:
SUCCEED: 1 Neverfall Knights Badge (50%)
FAIL: 2 Neverfall Squire Badge (50%)

Promoting badges from Knight to Royal succeeds at 20% chance:
SUCCEED: 1 Neverfall Royal Badge (20%)
FAIL: 2 Neverfall Knight Badge (80%)

So the "trials" are purely chance based? FML why did I even expect something else. So the trial is to gather enough Squire Badges and cross your fingers. gg.
