  • My apologies I was not directing that at you specifically but at the QA process. Realize that I greatly appreciate what you yourself do and I know others feel similarly. I don't think you sound apathetic, in fact the apathy is entirely with me. I post about bugs. I do this in game and on the forums. I test and try to…
  • Hello and while I appreciate your attention and reply I must say to you that many of us are aware of the game that is being played on these forums. Don't take it as anything personal against you but it is a quite obvious pattern of us reporting issues numerous times without any acknowledgement or addressing of the issues…
  • I might be able to tolerate the bugs, broken interactions of companions and enchants and items, supremely overpowered performance of certain classes, ridiculously foolish implementation of overloads -- these things I might just tolerate but this god forsaken perma lag, ten times to activate a power, run the same path 5…
  • I don't know as I have not tried sh pvp since then. The main reason I have not tried it is because everywhere else I get just as much server side lag as before and now there is also some new network lag (not sure that it has anything to do with the changes, though).
  • I have to agree with you on this, reporting bugs is a complete waste of time anymore. They used to address them and sometimes respond to them and even fix them but now it seems that is no longer the case.
  • The damage shown is the total damage over the course of the effect.
  • I had made a new GWF and have been playing him in the PvP league. If it is the shielding strikes mitigation threshold I wonder if maybe this threshold needs to be modified a bit for PvP as all I see when fighting OP is a bunch of goose eggs and I have nothing heavier to hit with than what I have available. Now this has…
  • Actually I do believe that TR's were nerfed every patch but 2 (every patch that touched anything to do with TR). They were nerfed every mod but one and stand as the most nerfed class in the game. Granted they needed it too in some cases and especially early on.
  • Even in T2's I see a lot of dps CW run ahead of everyone, engage early and first and alone and then complain later about aggro if they fall. I never tell anyone how to play as I say do it the way you enjoy it but they seem to have an uncontrollable lust to chase paingiver so hard that it often is problematic for the rest…
  • Well you don't "not use" SO in PvE, you either have it or don't and it has no off switch. It could be executioners you are looking at as they don't have SO. SO is on the sab path and honestly has no business being there.
  • I agree that TR 'SO' piercing damage does need to be looked at too and many of us have mentioned this for quite awhile, but realize in PvE it is 3% of a TR's damage opposed to 60%+ from SS for CW (Now I know you are being particular to PvP here but I wanted to give you more of a comparison of the difference between them).
  • I always felt that 60% of ones damage from a class feature was pretty insane considering typically these yield 3% for other classes -- but I am not saying that they should all behave uniformly either. Even with this change it will still likely always be used in all cases I would imagine.
  • The Princess Bride, Seven Samurai, Yojimbo (if you liked "A Fistfull of Dollars", watch the original samurai version of it).
  • Fix the bugs first. Until this is addressed everything new they release, every balancing point they address will not be accurate and will be wasted effort until the bugs are fixed.
  • It does not matter if it does not break the class. This can be said for any bonus/power for every single class, start whittling away in gradual amounts based on "it does not break the class". TR gets no innate resistance ignored, does this mean it should be reduced on other classes since the TR does not have it? This…
  • No I can get up to 27% with pots + coin + caprese. Perhaps there is a bug with my TR's deflect -- it would not surprise me with this game. Even that, though, is certainly unworthy enough of a concern for the amount of crying you all are doing -- and quite frankly it is that crying that you should be ashamed of.
  • Such a surprise to see a nerf request thread on a TR. At least this time they tried to hide the fact of what it was but it is still pretty obvious. I am pleased, though, that people fear the massive 21% deflect chance on my TR. Realize that I have a TR. I have no ITC, I have no working escape either. I have no temp hit…
  • Exactly this and it does away with the balancing nightmares that we face today and the focus of the devs becomes more precise and they are not distracted by considering the impact of one change against the other and they don't have to endlessly work the cycle of buff/nerf/buff/nerf one then the other to try and establish…
  • I have always found it funny that it seems almost every game has the pvp/pve balance problems and few have figured out that the solution is simple -- design the game around the pvp game play. I know this sounds odd to some but it isn't when you think about it and it leads to a better and more challenging game all around…
  • I remember speaking with CS about this. They told me to use the blacklist feature. I drew a blank and had no idea what they were speaking of and when I asked what they mean they told me to "put them on ignore". I quickly gave up on any help from CS at that point since it looked like they never even read my complaint.
  • It is another thing that is going to be difficult to fix. SO does a meager 3% of a TR damage in PvE so any outright nerf to it would need to not affect PvE. I fear they have coded many things without thinking about leaving ways to be flexible for future changes. I would have really thought when they made the stat changes…
  • I am not quite sure what you are trying to say here. Are you arguing that a GWF is not a striker? I can guarantee you that a GWF is certainly a striker and I would advise you to not base your argument that it isn't from some random site with a loose definition of what a striker is -- heck you can read even more definitions…
  • This applies to everyone, though, and not just the GWF. The GWF exposes others to risk just as often by gaining aggro and then sprinting to the back where everyone is trying to position with some degree of safety and I have conditioned myself to always take an away side when I get aggro in this fashion. I am not going to…
  • Haha okay I can play this game too. Of cousre it's the class that deals the most damage as it is the class that deals the most damage -- duh. The size of your rear end has nothing to do with it. Just because you are poorly skilled in playing this particularly easy game does not qualify the risk you place upon yourself from…
  • It was yesterday or the day before I got a black opal and someone else in my party said they had also just got one. Other than that I do not see any indication in my inventory that they are doing much.
  • When I see teams that requires such high ratings for easy runs I can only assume that those people lack any skill and need someone to carry them through -- and so I avoid these groups.
  • I don't see that it takes much risk at all -- where is there any risk in this game? The GWF has plenty of tools to mitigate any risk and everyone can qualify 'risk' as that which they have the least handle on adjusting to. If such is that they always deal waaaaaaaaay more dmg than any other striker then they become the…
  • I have always felt that pure offense build GWF's (destroyer) should have the best damage among the strikers -- but I never felt it should be anywhere near this much. Right now it is the king of burst, the king of sustained and at 50% premium (minimum) in total damage over any other striker. Since I still feel the game is…
  • It would be really great if we could have advanced dummies or sparring opponents that we could pick a DR for and other stats. I would really like some that attacked back but in an area where there was a constant healing effect so that one could do defensive parses and evaluate things to greater detail. Heck make them cost…
  • From my typical parse on a CW their top 3 damage effects are SS @ 40%, lostmauth bonus @ 20% and assailant at 15%. Granted this would vary but on typical dungeon runs I see stuff like that.
