When will we be able to use crafted items as transmutes?

My last request for information on a specific bug received at least an answer of some sort, even if it is still not fixed so let's try another one.
When will we be able to use crafted items created in the workshop be able to be used for transmutes?
I know the Devs are aware of the issue and I know if has been elevated to them so those answers will just be redundant.
Seems such a shame all that money spent on those green items and they are not useable so far. Not in Mod 15, not in Mod 16, do we have any sort of eta?

I really wish they would fix it, some very nice looking items that would be fun to transmute my characters with for sure.
