Master Expedition Xopsofoth Bug

The purple worm has bugged twice now on thi map shown below. After it disappears into the ground it re-appears under the map at the edge. It can no longer be damaged and all you can do is abandon. lost resonance and the quest due to this.

    This happened to me a couple days ago, and I really did not want to lose the expedition--so I sat by the fire for about 15-20 minutes and the boss reset and I could complete. This needs to be fixed, but I figured I would post a possible workaround for people (noone else waited).

    Ahhh, I tried to wait for a reset as well. Think I gave up after about ten minutes. Thanks for info.

    @ellyri ty for the possible work around. This bug has been reported a bunch of times from multiple sources, i don't believe the devs have commented on this as a problem yet.
