Gigantopithecus lure , no drop

I recently placed a lure for gigantopithecus, after vanquishing said foe there was no drop, absolutely nothing. I was not in a group, l was solo. The drop rate is now 100% for 2 and 3 star lures but as l said there was nothing of any kind dropped. Is this a known glitch/bug.
