Not connecting to the account server

Anyone else unable to get on? I was on after the maintenance this morning, now I can’t get in. I’ve checked for up dates, rebooted the system, and after a two hour break all I can get is “Connecting to the account server. Please wait...” and then “Connection to the account server timed out. Please try again later.” What’s going on?

Normally, hard reset/reboot of the console will fix this.

I've been having this issue for almost 72 hours now with "No shards available. Please try again later." On ps4. If anyone knows anything please let us know. I'm a bit relieved that I'm not the only one having this issue.

Easiest way is to shut it off and unplug it for about 5 mins.

I get these a lot 9/10 times if I go to ps settings and do connection test it fixes

Yes, I have done that, also reinstalled game, signed out and back into my account, etc. Really don't want to initialize my system. This started after last patch on Tuesday, think I will wait until tomorrow for live chat support and see what they say, or for Tuesday patch.

Just finished installing new patch. Still getting the "No shards are available. Try again later." message and the Play button greyed out.

Support finally got back to me about this. This was their response.

"Hello,

I am sorry that you're having log-in issues. We have been having some maintenance behind the scenes. There will be issues logging in temporarily. You should have the ability to log in soon. Feel free to contact us again if you have further issues."

I still cant get the "shard" to show its greys out on play its 5:00 p.m here surely maintenance is over by now ....

Mine has been greyed out/no shards since patch on 10/16/18.
