The estimate given in this thread was for a few weeks ago, so we can only hope it'll be back by the time the Winter Festival is over. It's been pushed back so many times, though. It's difficult to get my hopes up.

I think we're probably looking at sometime after the holidays here in the states, which would likely be after the new year. I mean, we're practically at Christmas weekend and many folks tend to take these next couple of weeks off.

Mod 13 "should" be coming in February so if it does come back it'll only be a few weeks before it's down again for who knows how long. They said in a live stream they are adding a lot of new stuff to the foundry including things from Chult. So I would guess we won't see the foundry again until after Mod 13 goes live. And hopefully some system improvements come with the new stuff or it'll be down again for 13b a few months later. lol

Hey look! We have 1 quest back up as of 1/11/2018. So...is it stalled or just slow to republish? I recall things stalling in the past, hence the question. Any word @nitocris83? Is this something where we may have to go republish our current/past quests manually? (I do recommend the sole published quest, it is an excellent one. If you've not had the opportunity to play it already.)

I do want to thank @miasmat for the in depth explanations and his time working to bring the foundry back up. I know we can be impatient when the editor goes down, which shows how much we really enjoy creating for our peers. I, for one, certainly appreciate the work done, and know others do as well.

The editor is up and we can publish quests, but we can't accept any quests. Clicking the button in the library to accept a quest has no effect.

Wow, this is true! Has it been this way only since the editor came back? There was a large maintenance yesterday too that the bug could've been in, but it sounds like something related to the "Authors could Build and Publish but not Run/3D Edit" bug mentioned in the Livestream. I wonder if how they fixed that broke players being able to accept and play. That'd be ironic.

I know for a while we had the ability to play Foundries but not edit them. But, did ability break before, after, or more recently than the editor coming back? I guess that's what I'm curious about. How long have you noticed this for? It's kinda sad if it's been since the editor came back and it's only now that one of us actually tried to play one. I was busy working on mine, but now I think I'm gonna play more of other people's work once we can again

Manual republish makes them able to be accepted, featured ones are hit and miss right now. Keep in mind, there isn't a way we can manually republish a featured quest. So go publish any quests that were already out prior to the maintenance on February 7.

As of today I was unable to accept any of the quests I tried.

My non-featured ones are up and able to be accepted as are the older Featured versions. A streamer just did my Harper Chronicles quest this morning. If the quests attempted were not republished by the author because they are no longer in-game anymore, that's likely what's going on. If they are featured quests, then they are an entirely different process that we authors don't have control over.

I manually republished mine last night and now I can accept it. I did a playthrough and while the quest works fine, I saw some things I'd like to improve
