Missing "Mask of the Owl" and odd item in inventory

I was wearing the Mask of the Owl as my fashion item last time I logged onto the preview server, however when I logged on a couple days back to test out dye combinations, I noticed that my character was not wearing it. The head item was nowhere to be found. Not in my character screen or my inventory.
Anyone else had a problem with some fashion items disappearing?
Also I noticed this odd item in my inventory, and I was wondering if maybe it had to do with the Mask disappearing.

What I got was worse. Hundreds of those, totally filling my overflow bag:

That's just on one of my characters, though. The others got one or none at all.
