Is Castle Ravenloft doable ? (Strahd phase with explosions and bands of death)

After they fixed the crash in Stahd's fight and the second fight bug too, it feels like they are ok with the state of this dungeon, however I can't find a way to beat strahd.
In the 2nd phase where we have 4 static enemies to fight, a series of red explosions (with little flames appearing before) appear on top of the targets in the diagonal zones, on top of the usual ones in the axis zones, and I can't find a way to survive. Wether you move to the center or in the axis borders of the arena, Strahd makes death crosses that cover all the area not covered by the red explosions. It one shots everyone but the tank, who can't revive allies in time.
Did we miss something ?

Need about 250k hp to survive the flame aoe's(just barely) which is quite hard for a lot of people to do, being scaled down to 17k. Even if not scaled down, that is still an enormous amount of damage. Most people if they get CR or ToNG for RAQ will quit the instance. A serious look by the devs needs to be taken for this problem.
