This time, the dragons burn Neverwinter to the ground!
But then Rath Modar shivs Valindra, everyone just says "eh, to heck with it" and they make Rhix king.
@Venture-1 @Venture from City of Heroes if you remember that far back. Yes, *that* Venture. Yes, I probably trashed your MA arc. For me it was Tuesday.

After recruiting the 5 guards from your stronghold, you go with them to the Siege zone and try to keep them alive.
As much as I normally hate escort quests this could add a bit more to the story and role playing.
You could / would get better rewards the longer you kept them alive.
Probably too much work for the programmers, who I suppose should be squashing bugs instead, but thought I would share the idea at least.
PANIC!
I know they said, it was done to improve the game, but reality is they didn't really try that hard. Some players claim the Foundry was abuse by players and bots, but that is misleading as the whole game has been abused by players and bots. I guess now the Foundry has been deleted and crushed, the game is somehow better for it? You can never convince me that removing something I put so much into and enjoyed doing was a bane to this game.
You will have to find somewhere else to tell you stories, you are not allowed to tell them here.
I'm playing my Fighter character and for Dragon HE's and since the Mod16 changes my character can't evade fast enough to keep from getting killed nor can they press SHIFT and keep from getting killed so consequently every time a dragon lays down a powerful strike my fighter (and a whole lot of other people) wind up dying because we can't shield, nor can we evade those attacks...
I'm open for suggestions because this constantly being overwhelmed and over powered and having to spend a small fortune on healing potions and injury kits when the return is usually less than half of what is being spent to replace those items is getting Real Old - Real Fast!
My 2¢
If your army is large 15 or more people, run green, blue, red, white, black and jump as normal. I was in such a group last week and we took down 7 dragons. However, because Siege started today, we have small armies. Show up early and pick one of the following plans.
- Run black, white, red, jump, red, white, black or
- Run green, red, white, jump, white, red green.
Range fighters need to come prepared to assist at a distance, don't be the fool shooting at point blank range. When the dragon drops all the melee they need to rush in and revive people ASAP. This is why all my ranged fighters are equipped with Tears of Bahmut. Meanwhile melee fighters need to study the dragon's moves (they can be very predictable) all my melee fighters are carrying one mass scroll of life and Tears of Bahmut as well. Dragons drop major attacks right after boasting about killing you. If they are talking, you are safe, once they stop get clear.Hope that helps.
Btw. i would like to trade in my epic Lillend (or any other "healer" companion) for a rare or even uncommon Whip (you know, those cute little healer creatures from the Twisted Caverns), since it looks like those know how to heal and shield their buddies properly...
The worst part, even when i get through a fight without being burned, poisened or electrecuted the rewards are simply not worth the trouble.
Not to mention that most the stuff you can get from the Supply Sergeant is still bop(character) after all these years, while it should have been changed to bound to account at the very least now.
No offense, but when will the rewards be scaled to match the difficulty of the content?
My companion is the Renegade Invoker at legendary, I self heal using the new Eminent Potion of Healing +65K. The potions cost 70 silver but can be purchased in the AH as well. Since I have finished the campaign, I mostly run the dragons for coin and coffers. Coffers sell pretty good in the AH and the dragon hoard coins sell in the campaign store, 100 coins = 1K RAD. If or when, the coffers drop below 300 each (30K per stack), I turn them in on the Rewards for the Hoard as I get 4500 AD for that quest weekly.
