Sorry for asking such a stupid question.
The additional 2%s for lowering ur targets damage resistance and reducing ur damage taking from target at rank 12. Is the damage resistance the same as defense ignored and if my DI is 100% would vorpal b useless to upgrade to 11 and 12 rank?

The Vorpal debuff increases damage in a similar fashion to the sword trio debuffs, or things like Thorn Ward.

It has an effect if your ArmorPen = enemy DR, but the effect is so small (lol2%) that you'd never notice the difference.

vorpal doesn't have these effects in module 16. it increases critical severity and when you use a daily power it gives you increased critical strike for a few seconds, thats all it does now (besides flashing a lot)
