Respec doesn't grant original base ability scores

I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but when I used the free respec to reconcile the changes to my class, I was also given entirely different base ability scores than what my character has on the live server.

Edit: I finally found the post detailing how base ability score are now preset values for each class and race. This bites and is NOT in the spirit of D&D (opinion). Part of creating a character is making them an individual. We might as well just be playing preset, already named, "adventurers" (opinion).
