V-chat audio defaults to speakers

A weird problem but my game audio always defaults to the correct headset I am using but the v-chat audio always defaults to my computer speakers. I am solo'ing fine and then go to do a run and people have their v-chat set to always on and all of a sudden my computer speakers are blaring this noise.

I run a 2012 Mac 27" with Windows 10 build 1809. I am currently using a Plantronics USB headset.
