Getting disconnected when loading non-public instances

Often when loading into maps like Tiamat or Stronghold I'm stuck on the loading screen for 20-30 seconds as the loading bar slowly crawls a couple of pixels and then get "Disconnected from server", or sometimes "You were disconnected because you were idle for 15 minutes". Then after logging back in I click "Normal login" and the instance loads without any issues instantly.
