elemental evil bug

i am having issues finishing drown shore quest the water node every time i go in to kill the boss and the cut scene starts to play for a few seconds and then screen goes black and then shuts the game down and puts me back to the xbox home screen it also happened a few times with the quest guarding the tree of balance but with that cut scene at the end u can skip the one for the water node u cant and i cant get the elemental evil finished with out it any help would be great thanx
