I know this was brought up a while ago, but has there been an answer if the equip effect of granting 1500 power when your companion is 50 feet or closer applies to Augment companions?

    No it doesn't apply the bonus when an augment companion is active. That applies to most if not all augment companions and not just the stone ones.
