Unable to start game client: client quits unexpectedly

This evening is the first time I have ever seen this. I play exclusively on a PC. Anyone else seeing this issue?

    Standard advice:
    * Run a full patcher scan of the NW file system. On NW startup page: Options/Patching/Force Verify.
    * Verify that your network is ok(accessing forums from same PC as game should do)
    * Make sure your graphics driver is updated

    If nothing else works, delete the NW files and do a full reinstall. Note it is important to delete all old files in this case, as the problem could be with inconsistencies in game config/status/shader etc files that needs to be regenerated.

    If this is the Arc patcher getting so far in updating the launcher then failing, then I've had this before. The fix I found was to ensure that all background system start processes have finished before launching Arc.

    I'm always too eager to launch Arc as soon as I start my PC, and for some reason if background start processes are running it causes the Arc patcher to fail.
