Spawn/Drop rates on Smilodon/Eotyrannus are atrocious

By comparison with all the other Chult critters, the spawn rate on the special mobs Smilodon and Eotyrannus are terrible. By my calculations, you're lucky if they show up 1 in 20 times. That would be bad enough, but even when they do show up, the drop rate on Smilodon's Tooth/Eotyrannus talon is particularly bad. It is way out of whack with the numbers on other mobs and their respective drops.
Can this please be improved? Many of us are beyond trying to get gear from the lower/middle tier hunts and are now grinding endlessly for Lure materials (only to have them go to waste on the boss they lure when no lure mats are dropped there either, and we have to do it all over again, but that is another story). Better yet, the bosses should automatically drop their associated lure mats...leave the RNG for the gear.
The prospect of burning lures for King of Spines and it dropping no gear, thus requiring the entire process be started over again is horrifying, if this is how it goes at the lower tiers.
