New to HR

I'm thinking of making my first HR. I have played most of the other classes but never HR. Can you give me any tips on what is sensible to use currently and any potential mistakes I should avoid?

    Pathfinder Trapper is probably the most forgiving build. Put your power points into splitshot, hindering, constricting and longstriders when you get enough. Only put 3 points into aspect of the pack, not 4, because broken, 4 points in serpents. Work on crit and power. That's about it tbh. Forget recovery btw with a trapper build. If you plan to pvp, put points in crushing roots and aspect of the lonewolf.
    No idea what my toon is now.
