Application will not finish Patch (PC)

For some odd reason my NWN patcher seems to freeze during patching. It's not freezing at any set %, it seems to be random. If I cancel the patch and close all of the software, the game then won't move past "Patching...". I will then restart my computer and the patcher will start downloading again, freezing again at some point in the process.

Try to make sure that your anti-virus protection isn't interfering with the download.

I called my ISP and had them open the ports for me on their end, the patch downloaded in less than an hour... Here is the info.
The ports used for downloading and running Cryptic Studios games and Blacklight Retribution are:

IP range: 208.95.184.0/22
Ports: TCP: 80, 443, 7000-7500

If connection issues persist, you can try flushing your DNS:

Press the Windows Key + R
In the Run window that opens type cmd and press Enter
Type ipconfig /flushdns into the command prompt window and press Enter

If you're able to load the game launcher but still cannot connect to the game, please try the following:

Disable on-demand patching in the game launcher options
Select the Force Verify option from the game launcher options

I am having this issue as well. Ports should not need to be opened as the return traffic will happen on the same port at the outgoing request. So any normal hardware firewall will allow the packets.

Any comment from Cryptic?
