Vellosk Explorer's Chart granting wrong reward?

I am trying to work up Mastercraft Tailoring. After turning in the Taffeta and Gemmed rare Blues, your next mission is Looming Large, in which you have to gather Cashmere wool to craft Cashmere Yarn. The Explorer's Chart for Vellosk is supposed to drop Cashmere Wool, but 3 consecutave mission runs of the mission (at 3,000 Marks each) netted Cashmere (the second level task item that is created from the Cashmere Yarn) not the Cashmere Wool. The chart help text clearly states that you will receive the Wool, not the Cashmere. This makes Mastercrafting Tailoring impossible to progress. This is apparently par for the course, since Cashmere Wool is not even found in the Auction House, but tons of Cashmere is.

1. Log in on Level 70 Control Wizard with Tailoring level 25.
2. Accept quest Looming Large (Obtain Cashmere Yarn 0/12) from the Artisan in SH.
3. Check level 25 Tailor professions task: Spin Cashmere Yarn. Requires Cashmere Wool.
4. Purchase Explorer's Case: Vellosk (Cashmere Wool, Dark Alum, Molybdena) from the Generalist under Scrolls Tab for 3,000 Guild Marks.
5. Double click Explorer's Case: Vellosk to recieve Explore Chart: Vellosk.
6. Zone to Vellosk.
7. Activate Explorer's Chart: Vellosk mission.
8. Chase the sparkle path and Interact with Explorer locations.
9. Randomly receive Dark Alum, Nolybdena and Cashmere (finished product not Cashmere Wool)
10. Repeated above steps 2 more times for a total of 3 mission runs. Receive 2 Dark Alum, 9 Molybdena, and 7 Cashmere (not Cashmere Wool).
11. Check Auction House. No Cashmere Wool or Cashmere Yarn for sale, but plenty of Cashmere.
