arc acting like a trojan and locking entire puter

not exactly sure why but 2day since update every time I open arc or start the game my entire puter freezes only option unplug power reboot. sometimes freezes immediately sometimes 5 min in. can't even uninstall arc, uninstall shield gives me un unreadable faded ink like msg and uninstall stops 1/3rd way thru.. putters fine unless start arc or nw... im froze out
