  • Ah, that does shed more light onto it, esp w/ the details about Sniper gloves the the TGM adv (Close the Gap is ideally ~5% more than Single Minded, but that's a pretty small difference as is for the gloves to overcome). Regardless, outside of odd things like DW, most of the results seem to generally make sense overall,…
  • Ah I see, so you somewhat curated the tests for rng too (could also take averages of multiple tests). It's a ton of work even w/ just one test per, so this is impressive indeed. I have only skimmed the data, but it is interesting to see the differences in using different ranks and rotations and stuff (apparently the sigils…
  • Wow, great work overall! I like how you tested different attacks and rotations on the same ATs. A single 1 min test is a bit on the short side (w/ crit rng and some cds having to be accounted for), but given the sheer amount of setups tested overall it's an understandable limit. Given that, the tests can still be fine as a…
  • Well, since ranged TK can be quite strong for dps, I'd prob make that the main component of the build, and use TP for some extra utility. For example: (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Ranged Damage) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Dexterity (Primary) Level 10: Recovery (Secondary) Level 15: Constitution (Secondary) Talents Level…
  • Yeah, Steadfast works w/ all MA attacks. It won't proc on Skewer itself here, but as long as you're also using Blade Tempest and other MA attacks then that shouldn't be too big of a deal (FotTempest will work on crits from any attack as well).
  • Here's how I'd prob edit the build, trying to keep most of the powers intact: Barbarian - Freeform (Melee Damage) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Strength (Primary) Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary) Level 15: Constitution (Secondary) Talents Level 1: The Savage (Str: 10, Dex: 8, Con: 10, Rec: 10) Level 6: Impresario (Dex: 5,…
  • Yea, if it jives well enough for the theme, a power with a Restoration/Inner Peace type adv can be a nice add on, if you want an alternative (or extra) small heal.
  • Yea, I may get R2 and/or the 1pt Spectral adv on DK (even if it's not your main AoE), but it's up to you. BCR does have a dmg penalty, but Conviction has its own activation time (and a shorter cd) so constant use of it does lower your dps a bit too. You could take either heal and prob be fine, though, and even if BCR can…
  • Grats on your 30th birthday! For the build: if you want to use 100Hands more, then you can also make it to apply Demolish instead of TKicks. It won't be quite as good for dps, but it will allow you to weave 100Hands into your single-target rotation as well (if you want that for the theme), and will free up a power slot.…
  • No problem, and glad to hear that the build is doing better for you. Good luck out there 8)
  • I hope the build is performing better for you (notably, to maintain aggro reliably). ADs share a cd, but I guess you took both Resurgence and Indestructible to have the option of healing vs mitigation. That can be fine, assuming you regularly use either (R3 Masterful Dodge is also an option for mitigation, since it puts…
  • Yea, the Ult is good if you have it unlocked. Regardless of the other powers you settle on (and testing out Conc vs Spellcaster), the build looks pretty good overall.
  • Oh, I thought that you wanted the Blast this whole time. If not. then you can just use Hex to refresh Hexed (if you don't mind staying w/in 50ft) and Pillar's Mystical adv for the Enchantment, and then Eld Blast isn't really needed anymore. Another good option is to just use the Wisp from Infernal, since it's 100ft and can…
  • Well, Star Barrage's higher cost shouldn't matter that much for that 3rd build, since it will work w/ Conjuring (unlike w/ KI in the Muni build). That said, either Star Barrage or Skarn's Bane are fine for Sorc's main AoE. Star Barrage is often taken cause it can be used past 50ft (and that's its main benefit over Skarn's,…
  • All three variants of the build can be okay, since they have the same basic core, just w/ some tweaks here and there (though the 2nd and 3rd have an easy means to apply Superconductor, you could also replace a power in the 1st build w/ Chain Lit + SC adv). Also, I would prob take Dex Mastery over Vind Mastery for the 3rd…
  • Okay, well that all sounds good. And yea, if you aren't having energy problems w/ the Muni + Sorc build then you don't necessarily need to change anything. Let me know if you still end up have issues w/ it, though.
  • (you keep misspelling question as 'qeastion' and it's kinda weird lol) Anyways, Brawler spec is quite good for TK blades, since Setup works well w/ its single-target rotation of alternating between Ego Weaponry and charged EBA. Brawler spec also is good for Ruthless, Penetrating Strikes, and Flanking (or Finishing Blow).…
  • For the 1st build, if you're going to switch to Dex PSS (which is fine), then you can consider just replacing Ego SS w/ Con SS, since Ego as a 2ndary SS isn't adding much of a dmg boost due to diminished returns. For the 2nd build, Skarn's Bane is indeed quite cheaper than Star Barrage. You could potentially get away w/ it…
  • The 1st build is mostly fine. For the open slot you can get a threat wipe, a CC power, or just w/e ya like for the theme, since the build should be able to play well as is. Keep in mind that Dex will be the main stat, since that scales up Mental Disc, and then you prob want to get 3/3 in 6th Sense if keeping Ego PSS. The…
  • Do you mean the Havoc Hammer device when you refer to "PU(N)CH with the sonic damage"? If so, then that's gonna be mostly redundant w/ Thunder Claw, since both are main attacks that have no cd when you get their fitting powers (which would be Haymaker for Havoc Hammer- which is obv not an MA power). So I prob wouldn't put…
  • Alright, and keep in mind that if energy is not enough for the adv, then you can always just opt for R3 on Lumi Slash and still fare okay w/ an LS build. Plasma Cutter's numbers were also recently buffed, so you could also try that as an alternative approach (would play similar to an SB bleed + rupture build, if you're…
  • Yea, you'll def want R3 DC if you want good mileage from the device. If you want a build focused more around the device, then here's an example (though there's many different setups that could work): (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Dexterity (Primary) Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)…
  • Np. Regardless of whatever tweaks are made to it, hope you like the build.
  • Yea, the build could still work fine as is, if you want to try that close-range and/or block-based playstyle. I'd prob replace one of the non-core powers (like Gigabolt or Elec Current) w/ Resurgence. Getting R2 of the block could also be nice for harder content (as could ranking up heals like Conviction or Elec Siphon).…
  • Okay, the mix of sets is a bit odd, but could be made to work in a number of different ways. Here's an example of a basic dps build w/ them (if you want a build w/ a different role and/or playstyle, then let me know): (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Ranged Damage) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Ego (Primary) Level 10: Recovery…
  • Sure thing. Hope you like the build, and yea edit it however you like.
  • Well, not as many things can be shot from the head area. In Fire, Fireball is prob your best bet for single-target dmg that still has Head emanation available, so I may take that (and obv Fire Breath for wider AoE). Inex Tides is a melee attack, so in a ranged build it's going to be a bit odd to fit in, but you could keep…
  • Maintaining that high of an energy stat (and w/o having to use the energy builder- since that defeats the purpose of the dps increase on the adv) can be pretty tricky, but it does depend a good deal on gear/stats (and any ally buffs you may get- like AoAC or AoPM). So I'd prob start off using both energy stats when testing…
  • If you're making it Dex-based, then you prob want to use FotTiger as your toggle/form, since Particle Accel scales w/ Int instead. You'll also want good energy stats for Lumi Slash's adv, so I may SS both End and Rec here (End scales up Unified Theory anyways), and you'll prob also want to gear for cost discount. I'd also…
  • It's np 8) And hope the build works well for you.
  • Okay, here's an example AR/Muni build using PFF: (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Hybrid) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Ego (Primary) Level 10: Recovery (Secondary) Level 15: Constitution (Secondary) Talents Level 1: The Scourge (Con: 10, Ego: 10, Rec: 10, End: 8) Level 6: Worldly (Ego: 5, Rec: 5) Level 9: Amazing Stamina (Rec:…
  • It can be strong, esp if you use Lumi Slash's End of the Line adv w/ high enough energy for single-target dmg.
  • No problem. Regardless of the build, have fun out there.
  • Sure thing. Also, just in case you wanted to try it as a healer, here's an example Support version: (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Support) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Presence (Primary) Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary) Level 15: Constitution (Secondary) Talents Level 1: The Witch (Con: 10, Int: 8, Pre: 10, Rec: 10) Level…
  • The role you want to play is just up to you. I'll give you a build for a melee dps atm, just cause it's the most straightforward. Here's an example mix of MA w/ some Sorc: (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Dexterity (Primary) Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary) Level 15: Constitution…
  • Okay, here's an example Support build w/ ranged TK: (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Support) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Presence (Primary) Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary) Level 15: Constitution (Secondary) Talents Level 1: The Witch (Con: 10, Int: 8, Pre: 10, Rec: 10) Level 6: Diplomatic (Int: 5, Pre: 5) Level 9: Lasting…
  • Okay, well neither power is strictly needed here (since the main filler powers are already taken by the melee attacks), but you can pick either if you want a spam-able ranged attack (and/or heal, in Conduit's case). TK Barrage would work better w/ the build than Star Barrage (since it can proc the toggle/form and EU on its…
  • Well, Sentinel Mastery can already heal by using powers like MStorm and Ego Sleep. You could also throw in Pillar of Poz (or Expulse) for a nuke + healing rune. The rest of the build can be a TK blades dps core, if desired. For example: (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Presence…
  • No problem. Have fun out there 8)
  • It seems like you have a good bit of redundancy to the attacks in these builds. Using Vengeance w/ adv for spec debuffs is fine if you want to boost team dps, but then you'll mostly be using that for offense (wouldn't leave as much room for weaving in TK attacks, or other things). It's also a bit iffy to mix ranged and…
  • They are both generally using the Paranormal dmg type, but beyond that there's not much synergy. You can still combine them generally as any two sets could, if you want different sets for different attack types (ex. AoE vs. single-target), or taking one set for the main attacks (likely TK) while the other provides more…
  • Well, ranged TK is quite self-sufficient, so maybe the tech stuff can be more utility-related. Here's an example build: (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Ranged Damage) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Dexterity (Primary) Level 10: Recovery (Secondary) Level 15: Constitution (Secondary) Talents Level 1: The Samurai (Dex: 10, Con:…
  • Oh yea, forgot it had that new adv. It is better than R3 for sustained dmg, provided it's a longer fight (and assuming you don't have to constantly interrupt channeling for other reasons, like blocking). So whether it's worth it depends a bit on the type of content you're doing and/or prioritizing.
  • I prob wouldn't bother w/ spending 2 points on the Disorient adv for Concussion Grenade (could move it to R2 of Resurgence), and the plan to have the last power slot open to experimentation sounds fine. Lastly, here's what you can take for Guardicator specs: Specializations Ego: Force of Will (2/2) Ego: Insight (3/3) Ego:…
  • Yea, Tac Missiles can KD its main target, but at a 12-50% chance (depending on charge time). Anyways, feel free to experiment around w/ different powers, and you can train 1-2 of them (and any of their advs) last if you want to more easily swap them out n the future.
  • LT is a good AoE to use, esp w/ its large radius, so you can keep it here. Tac Missiles is a bit redundant, though I guess you could add it as a long-range (>50ft) option, if desired. An option in Force that's prob thematic enough is Force Geyser, just as a quick 100ft CC option (Force Snap or Singularity Bomb could also…
  • Well, most of these are prob just going to have to exist in your character's own headcannon, cause they either don't relate to CO's powers or are just something CO's FF system doesn't really provide. I guess I'll mix Mentalist w/ some Force, since the latter lets you throw around enemies w/ some powerful energy blasts:…
  • Sure thing. You may be okay to just leave the self-rez at R1, but otherwise that edit looks fine.
  • Okay here's an example mixing of the two power types: (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage) v3.45:38 Super Stats Level 6: Dexterity (Primary) Level 10: Endurance (Secondary) Level 15: Constitution (Secondary) Talents Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10) Level 6: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)…
  • Alright. Well, as a Tank self-rezes aren't as good cause you lose all aggro on death, and you can't easily 'taunt' it back. It's still okay for easier content where the stakes are lower, though you're less likely to die there in the first place (and in some cases you can just Recover and run back). It's also worth noting…
