Release Notes 5/9/2019

Nightmare Invasion
For the next 2 weeks the Nightmare Invasion Event will be running.
  • Added Jagged Horns and Sleeveless Jacket costumes to the event vendor.
  • Added Incantation Costume Transformation to the event vendor.
  • Added various titles to the event vendor.
  • Moved several costumes from the vendor to possible drops from event enemies.
  • Added reward choices of event currency, recognition or questionite for the daily missions.
  • Slightly brightened up the Nightmare Event lighting.




ZEN Store
  • Added Heroic Hair costume pack to the ZEN store for 750 ZEN.




Emotes
  • Added Newspaper emote. This emote is available to all players.




Misc
  • Corrected an issue with the male Scion 1 tights.
  • Added Leather and Metal materials to the Bear Head shoulders costume.
  • Fixed a clipping issue with the female Oni Slayer hair costume.
  • Fixed a clipping issue with the female Rave Wild hair costume.

    For real tho. At this point, I don't mind if you can't fix Personal Mags getting disabled by enemy crowd control. It's nearing a YEAR since promised said device.

    They still haven't fixed the bug that moves all my characters around depending on which one I played last and makes it a real PitA to find the one I'm looking for.

    I noticed in the post on the invasion, that the large upright horns, cause i can't remember what they were called isn't in the vender, would it be elsewhere? Thought it was suppose to be in the first week as shown on the page with the sleeveless jackets?

    Hat friendly basically means 'painted on', most existing hairs aren't very hat friendly either.

    There's not a lot you can do with zero thickness hair. Anything else inherently clips.

    That's how I just described it, I said they got a Sleeveless Jacket (usually called a vest) in the event store

    Yes. But this looks somewhat different from the existing Vest biker cause "premium quality content"!

    But making current jackets we have, sleeveles, would make them sleeveles jackets.....With half sleeves and full sleeves included, ofcourse. :#

    Some cool Hat Hairs that would show hair from where the hats stop would be great but I can see some problems with a Hat Hair costume pack as not all the bottoms of hats start at the same level on the head and are not the same width on the head. Maybe the devs could consider giving a custom hairstyle that works with each new hat that comes out and at the same time work on custom hairs for hats that exist already, little by little.

    The Hat Hair pack idea was already abandoned. We're talking about the Hair Hat pack now. Hats positioned higher, and made bigger, so they can sit on top of hair. It'd be similar to a Fallout mod I made where I just resized a bunch of hats and helmets and flagged them to show hair, so they could be used with hair. Worked out pretty good, sure they could do something similar here. Sure it might be tedious, but the majority of dev work is.​​

    Quite a lot, I imagine. It's something I've heard in a lot of peoples' wish lists :)

    Reporting in from the void to also agree that being able to pair hats with more hair styles would be a pretty neat addition, especially if done through some minor resizes and repositioning.
    I can only assume that a 'hat slider' (similar in function to the tail/wings sliders) would be difficult to implement - although, not like I know the first thing about the engine myself - but I'd love to just make a tiny character and just be a giant, 'sentient' hat~.

    So I know the lighting change was supposed to be an improvement - but at least for me, it takes MC from "This looks weird and not really that good" to "This literally makes my eyes hurt from looking at it for more than a few minutes". I'm not sure why it does that, but it's quite unpleasant.

    Could we get something like the Noir event's device to turn the lighting effect off, please?
