Knight/Paladin Archtype?

Is it possible to create a new tank centered around a sword and shield using blocking advantages bashing with a shield to knock down and powers like light powers to cause either damage or debuffs on enemies or buffs on teammates. Sort of a leader of the charge and frontline to give team best chance to attack freely.

I believe this would be a favorite as the tank class is kinda small in its list and having a tank that boosts its dps and healers abilities would be invaluable in boss fights and things like that plus the aesthetic that a lot of people go for of knights and armored costumes would bring a new option in the form of a customizable shield like guns or swords to satisfy rp players and some purist mission players too.
