Bastion Question

If you have Onslaught Defender Gloves, which apply Bastion, is there any point to taking a power that applies Reckless, which also provides the Bastion buff?

Bastion from Reckless and Defender Gloves is the exact same thing, so having one makes the other redundant in regards to stacking Bastion.

However, this doesn't necessarily mean there's no reason to get Reckless. In fact, it can mean the opposite. For example, my HW toon no longer uses Defender Gloves, because having Reckless and Gloves of the Slicer is a much better combo since the extra damage is worth more to me than 2 advantage points.
