The largest lizard alive today is the Komodo dragon, up to 10' long and weighing up to 150 pounds. Apparently it's both. The venom has anti-coagulant properties to make the wound get infected worse.

That is a popular theory right now, but what mechanism actually comes into play is still debated. No few authorities suggest the wounded animals die from common sepsis which is more likely in a tropical climate.

That's just it, their venom won't actually kill you at all. Also the delivery mechanism is their saliva, so it's debatable if it actually counts as venom. Anyways, it makes wounds that would otherwise heal naturally into a death sentence unless medically treated. I actually remember reading an article about Komodo Dragons that was written before the venom was identified that speculated it existed because the bacteria in dragon saliva aren't actually unusually deadly, but the wounds just didn't heal properly.
Gorillas turned into people. People of North America perform a yearly ritual where they murder a bird, eat its flesh, then afterwards break its bones to make a wish.
Gorilla is obviously, factually and mathematically better. This poll just underlines how widespread chronic confusion and derangement, caused by excessive forum use, is nearing pandemic levels.

At this point it is the only remaining solution.
