Omicron Technology?

Hey guys, what can you tell me about the Omicron Technology? The only thing I know from the game is that Ripper was augmented with that (except his brain, as the Supreme Serpent said lol)

    In the PnP game, Omicron tech was originally only applied to Ripper, but Cryptic extended that to a limited number of VIPER agents. Ripper was a VIPER agent whose body was substantially destroyed by exposure to acid. Dr. Moreau, who was employed by VIPER at the time, rebuilt him with bionic grafts and armor plate. Omicron tech is a later experimental "upgrade," replacing his old armor with more durable materials, and injecting him with chemicals which allow him to heal from injuries extremely quickly. While Ripper is normally superhumanly strong, he can trigger an extra infusion of Omicron chemicals which temporarily boost his strength to rival the strongest supers on the planet. Unfortunately the chemical surge frequently causes Ripper to go berserk, attacking everyone indiscriminately.
