    I have a massive update coming. Including forum thread list coloring, page number coloring, avatar resized back to 100px, and I could also do quotes right now before I update it.

    Wait... you mean it won't be a greyscale mess?

    Also, i'm not sure but when I use the edit my thumbnail function I ended up getting an error with the var path (/var/www/frontend-436b42d5fc52ce) when trying to save, I'm not sure if i'm supposed to see that?

    To be specific:
    No such file '/var/www/frontend-436b42d5fc52ce/uploads/userpics/482/nZXBUWJJU5M0L.png' ([404] )

    I'm guessing it's nothing, but still the edit my thumbnail function is broken then.

    Are you saying you don't like grayscale? I actually do, but I could also do a general color overhaul as a separate style override. However, I think grayscale can look fantastic if done correctly. It has to be very responsive though. If it's not responsive, it just looks dull.

    Anyways, update is up. So you can try it now.

    Glad it's being used. I usually do things without expecting anyone to use what I make. So it's always nice to get appreciation for stuff like this.

    Edit/Update: Oh crap, uh, the last update slightly messes up the very first post (because it's displayed differently than all posts). I'm going to go fix it as fast as I can and put the fix up.
    Edit/Update 2: Fixed it. It was something small, so no worries.

    I just noticed that the avatar area now shows when a post has been edited. I'm thinking that I should just hide the post edited message. It just feels like a distraction from the post, even with the modified color. Any objections?

    None here whatsoever. Any ideas of if it's possible to force the issue in http://perfectworld.vanillaforums.com/discussion/1190654 to be hidden?

    PWE needs to shut off the forum setting that is outputting the IPs. It was likely for debugging purposes and someone derpped and forgot to shut it off. It's really no big deal though. If your router has a firewall and you have a firewall that are configured correctly, I wouldn't worry.

    Edit: I removed the post edited message from view. Enjoy.

    I already fixed that many hours ago in my CSS injection. You don't need JS (especially not node cloning) for that (although a CSS injector is likely to use JS). Go one page back and find my big post. It fixes most issues with the forum appearance. It's also well commented, so it's easy to change or remove what you do or don't want.

    Ah, didn't realize the buttons were already there. Ah well, time killer regardless
    Also, the CSS makes my blank post even better as a blank post than it was without it.

    Guess i'll continue on CSS to personalize stuff and use JS if needed wherever.
    Made the stupid cogwheel setting thing visible because I dislike the hover over a comment to show it, it's stupid.

    I just updated my CSS injection with some various overall changes that improve the general flow. I think I'm pretty satisfied with it right now, so I'm going to start working on the non-grayscale version of the layout. Should have it done in a few hours hopefully. I'll try for a lightblue/cyan maybe type look. We'll see.

    Awesome.
    Ongoing on that, I added (for myself, might be interesting):
    /*make options cogwheel visible*/
    .OptionsTitle{
    	visibility: visible !important;
    }

    /*show icons properly (they used FFFFFF instead of ffffff*/
    .ReactSprite{
        background-image: url("/applications/dashboard/design/images/sprites-14-ffffff.png") !important;
    }

    The optionstitle thing I guess is a personal preference, but the fact they messed up the icons because of using upercase instead of lowercase is just... dumb.
    Might want to add that to yours, if you want.

    Nice catch on their mistake. I added your fix in (with credit) and changed the padding and line-height for the flag/quote area. I was actually wondering why the icons weren't there. Now I know. I guess the people making the webpage design didn't know that *nix based systems are case sensitive.

    Edit: Fixed avatar max-width value. It shouldn't get any larger than 125x150 pixels.

    Glad you like it.

    For anyone who hasn't tried it yet, here is a small sample of the changes (there are many more and a number of them are reactive to your mouse)

    Original A -> My CSS Injection / Style Updates A

    Original B -> My CSS Injection / Style Updates B

    Random note to anyone who was paying attention to me a month ago on here. Remember when I said I had found a bug that I didn't want to disclose. I just want everyone to know that it was found by another user and a discussion has already been made around it. I did say that might happen. Can you guess which one? Nevermind, it hasn't been found by anyone else. My bad, I thought someone found it. *whistles* - Can't wait for the next person to discover this one...

    Nah, that's not it. I knew about that one, but I didn't really consider it a bug. I considered it a lousy attempt to hide a function with CSS yet again.

    In other news, I'm about 25% done with the colorful layout. It's uh...colorful. It's 4AM, so I may need to call it a night and pick it up tomorrow.

    OMG. Thanks! I just started hacking on the CSS injections myself on the Neverwinter categories and found yours!
    I just merged yours and mine and am now pretty happy!

    Here's the little bits I did earlier yesterday -- very teal/bluish leanings along with a few border/margin/sig fixes.
    body, tr
    {
        background: rgba(11, 129, 150, 1);
    }

    body > #Frame > .Head

    }

    .BoxTop
    {
        padding: 2px 4px;
        margin-bottom: 5px;
    }

    div.Signature
    {
        border-top: 3px solid rgba(0, 0, 255, 0.3);
    }

    .ItemDiscussion, .Comment, .Activities > .Activity, .MessageList > li, .Item-Search {
      background: rgba(11, 140, 160, 1);;
      padding: 5px;
    }

    div.PostEdited
    {
        color: darkgray;
    }

    #Content > h1
    {
        background-color: #035E5E;
        color: orange;
    }

    div.Comment
    {
        background: rgba(11, 129, 150, 1);
    }

    tr.Item
    {
        background: #C0C0C0;

    }

    (I'm going to keep editing this post. So keep checking up every so often.)

    I'm going to keep a log of changes I've made. Each new line is a separate edit I've made. So if this changes, then the above was changed.
    1. Added codebox hover-over outline
    2. Added post hover-over outline for helping eye focus
    3. Changed eye focus rule constraints to cover discussion message as well as comments
      .DataList .Item:hover -> .MessageList .Item:hover
    4. Made various changes to previous settings, so they need to be overridden now
    5. Made avatar area prettier
    6. Made numbers on lists "popout" more
    7. Improved quote distinguishability
    8. Made changes to signature area
    9. Made forum thread lists less dull and lifeless
    10. Fixed first post avatar area
    11. Made small change to comment-info area (section -> .Comment .CommentInfo)
    12. Removed red post edited message. (section -> div.PostEdited)
    13. Fixed Flag/Quote box for first post in discussion only (rule change)
      .Reactions -> .Discussion .Item-BodyWrap .Reactions, .Comment .Item-BodyWrap .Reactions
    14. Changed quote block rules
    15. Changed avatar display size to be dynamic instead of fixed
    16. Added dblazen1 fix and slightly changed flag/quote line height so that it feels more even
    17. Re-added max-width for avatars. Don't know how that got removed.
    18. Changed max-height to 125px.

    Nicely done. Definitely an improvement.

    It all looks great, guys, it's actually what I would have loved for the forums here, so awesome work on making more features.
    Now, for someone like me that doesn't speak techy code stuff you smart people are talking, how do I make use of your awesome added features?

    It all looks great, guys, it's actually what I would have loved for the forums here, so awesome work on making more features.
    Now, for someone like me that doesn't speak techy code stuff you smart people are talking, how do I make use of your awesome added features?

    It depends on the browser you use. If you use Chrome, download Stylish, create a new Style, and paste in the CSS he created and save it as a style for the whole perfectworld.vanillaforum domain.
