Android (Nexus 6) navigation issue

You may already be aware, but I'm seeing a minor navigation issue viewing threads on an Android smartphone. The navigation buttons at the bottom don't consistently show the button text.
For example, I'm looking at one where the first two buttons appear completely blank, the third button highlighted in blue has a visible number for the current page, and the last button has the >> symbol.
When I click on the second button to take me back to the beginning, now the first button has the << symbol, the second button is highlighted in blue and has the number 1, and the last two buttons appear blank.
Probably just a css thing.
